Rosa, a Winner!

It turns out my Rosa Blackwell bust entry was one of the 3 winners of Dave “Wadjet Eye Games” Gilbert’s fanart contest, which means I’ll be getting my greedy fingers on a copy of his latest creation in the Blackwell series, the Blackwell Deception. Nice surprise just when I was about to sit down and play Gears of War 3. With the crafty cliffhanger Dave put into the demo of Deception, I have no choice but to put Gears 3 aside for a while and see what trouble Rosa and Joey get themselves into this time!

Here’s another one from Wadjet Eye Games‘ Blackwell series. I felt Joey was getting a bit lonely, and I had a few hours free before bedtime a couple of nights, so Rosa decided to join him in the bust department. I tried a different render style this time, a bit more realistic.

Dave Gilbert of Wadjet Eye Games fame is holding a fanart contest where you can pick a character from any of his games and fanart-ize him/her/it. A great coincidence since I was really wanting to sculpt a quick bust in ZBrush, so I picked Joey Mallone from his Blackwell adventure games.
